Fire Temple Ceremonies

A ceremony with us is more than an event; it’s a transformational journey, a deeply profound experience. You will be held in a tribal setting that honors the sacredness of the process while our local community is here to support your healing, offering preparation and aftercare to help you integrate what you uncover.

We bring our plant medicine ceremonies under the traditional and loving guidance of Mexican medicine man Tata Mano ‘Churuwia’ who has been providing safe and loving spaces for healing in the last years for people around the world.

Our medicine ceremonies are offered to you in service of traditional knowledge from the cultural, spiritual and therapeutic traditions of Mexico and the Amazon. We believe that a ceremony should be led by a guide or Medicine Wo/Man trained by Elders to work with adequate knowledge and experience of tradition, use of plant medicines, mystical and healing arts, words, songs, music, and more depending on specialism.

Commonly known by the Siberian word ‘shaman’, in the Shuar tradition of the Amazon these are the exclusive practices of the ‘Uwishin’. In Mexico known as ‘Nahual’, in Peru as ‘Curandero’ or ‘Sanador’ (healer).

Why we work with plant medicine in our ceremonies

Medicine Music

Our ceremonies are accompanied by live indigenous ‘medicine’ music from beginning till end with enough time for silence between the ‘songs’.
Mano is a traditional medicine singer and player of instruments such as an Amazonian monochord and violin, Kichwa harmonicas, Native American flutes and guitar, chants in Shuar, Nahuatl and Spanish. The guidance, tradition and prayers will be mostly in English.

Mano guides the ceremony, with the support of wonderful medicine musicians, to bring out the highest and finest vibrations from the medicine's healing powers.

We only work with medicine from reliable and sustainable sources that are dedicated to ethical harvesting and work with full respect for nature and tradition.
Our medicine is cooked and prepared by our Medicine Man and his team locally fresh before each ceremony.
During the ceremony our Medicine Man uses a collection of medicinal plants to serve individual needs in their healing process, such as Rape.

Our Medicine

Our Medicine Tribe

Our medicine is sourced ethically through our 2 trusted tribes in Ecuador who are both lineages of ancient elders and healers in the Amazon forest. These tribes are fully committed to guarding the sacred plant for future generations through regenerative methods of harvesting and replantation. Our indigenous friends in Ecuador treat the plants and nature with deep respect and carry a message to humanity to equally live in harmony with our environment.

Furthermore, we actively support the tribe of our teacher Hilario Chiriap who is the Uwishin (Elder shaman) of the Shuar Nation in the upper Amazon in Ecuador.

A percentage of our income is donated to his tribe to safeguard the forest, replant medicine and continue to offer education on medicinal plants and ancestral indigenous methods of healing.

It is possible for our students, participants and friends to visit our tribe in Ecuador for cultural exchange, apprenticeship programs or our annual retreats.

You can find more information on our retreats in the Journey’s section or contact us.
